Preset:
Choose "Audio Only MQ(48 Kbps)" in this drop-down list located in the menu bar.
Higher bandwidths give better quality, but put more stress on the web server.
Use lower bandwidths if your listeners connect to the internet with slow modems.
FTP Host and Directory:
Enter the name of your FTP server, and the path of the directory which will contain your stream.
This directory should be located in the "public" part of the FTP file system. In other words, it must be accessible by the web server.
Examples:
Host: ftp.myhost.com
Directory:
/public_html/radio or
/httpdocs/radio... then your broadcast would be available to listeners at
http://www.myhost.com/radio ).

Password:
Enter the FTP password required to login to your FTP account;
Audio source:
Select "Files" in this drop-down list.
Audio files from folder:
select the local folder which contains the audio files to broadcast; supported audio formats are MP3, OGG and WAV.
Start button:
Click it to start the transmission, it is located in the menu bar.
The OnLine indicator lights up when the FTP connection is established; your broadcast
will be available to listeners a few seconds later when the Ready indicator is lit.
The Transmission Speed indicator should display a value within 5% of the nominal
bandwidth of your broadcast; a drop beyond 5% would be due to a faulty internet
connection, or a problem with your FTP server. The red Link indicator is turned on in
such circumstances. BS-Server is capable of reconnecting automatically if the FTP
connection is dropped, and your listeners should not notice if the connection can be
restored in less than 30 seconds (most FTP servers can do this).
