Reference: Menu and toolbar

Toolbar (from left to right) :

Open server settings button

When the program starts it restores its last settings. Use this button to restore another saved configuration.

Save server settings button

If you have made changes to the current configuration and plan to reuse it later, use this button to save your changes.
if you have created a new configuration and plan to reuse it later, use the File/Save as menu to save your changes under a new settings file name.

Presets drop-down list

Select your preferred settings; you can broadcast either audio+images, audio only, or images only. Select a bandwidth less than your internet connection speed. Higher bandwidths give better audio and image quality, but put more stress on the web server. Use lower bandwidths if your audience connects to the internet with slow modems.

Start button

Use this button to start your broadcast. Watch the status messages while the program performs initial updates. Initialization may take up to 1 minute. Your audience will be able to listen to your broadcast when:
  • you see the "Started" status message
  • the "KBytes sent" counter is counting
  • the "Transmission speed" indicator is lit
  • the "Ready" indicator is on.

Stop button

If a broadcast is in progress, use this button to stop it. It takes up to 30 seconds to halt the program and make the necessary cleanup. Do not close the window until you see the "Disconnected" status message.
